The Hong Kong born construction designer Tan Weiwu is now the domestic architectural designing guru, his designing reputation coming from his practical spirit of service. Facing modern commercial construction’s impractical performance, he continues to ever so diligently explore the essence of design. He is pursuing his own construction principles and expressions in a way with unending revision. Reviewing his work, we find it very difficult to label his designing attitude as a certain style or of a particular school.
